本展では、「思考の痕跡を作品として残すこと」に引き続き着目し、版画の可能性を拡張しながら、テキストや写真へと目を向けた新作を発表しています。

金森桜子　Sakurako Kanamori
2000年東京都生まれ東京都在住。ドローイングを出発点に、版画技法を主に様々な記録媒体を横断して制作。日常の断片や人の痕跡を採取し、記録・複製・保存という3つのプロセスを通して再構成することで、不可逆な時間にしがみつき、記録し固定しようとするイメージの装置性を探究している。

Sakurako Kanamori
Born in 2000 in Tokyo, where she currently lives and works. Beginning with drawing as a point of departure, Kanamori creates works that traverse printmaking techniques and various recording media.
By collecting fragments of daily life and traces of people, she reconstructs them through the three processes of recording, reproduction, and preservation. Through this process, she explores the apparatus-like nature of images that attempt to cling to irreversible time and fix it through acts of documentation.
